We are pleased to announce Volume 26 of PechaKucha Night Portland on Monday, June 18 as we return to Holocene for a night of creative presentations and community connection.
Volume 26 will explore the theme :: Happenstance.
Steve Jobs once said “You can only connect the dots looking backwards.” Whether you attribute it to serendipity (happy accident), epiphany (inspired thought), dumb luck or fate; happenstance is all around us. How has happenstance shaped your own life? What role does happenstance play in the creative process? Do we invite randomness into our work or try to avoid happenstance at all costs?
For Volume 26, we'll dive deep into the random moments —that when paired with hard work, creativity and desire— have led to some of Portland’s greatest outcomes and creative endeavors.
